A healthy breakfast helps you „wake up” your metabolism and you will burn the exact calories which help you lose weight. One theory suggests that eating a healthy breakfast can reduce hunger throughout the day, and help people make better food choices at other meals. While it might seem you could save calories by skipping breakfast, this is not an effective strategy. Typically, hunger gets the best of breakfast-skippers, and they eat more at lunch and throughout the day.
Children who eat breakfast regularly are more focused in school and pass the tests given by their teachers a lot easier. Those who skip breakfast have a tendency to be irritable, careless, disinterested. This state of mind also applies to adults.
The right breakfast foods can help you concentrate, give you strength – even help you maintain a healthy weight. Healthy breakfast choices can consist of : cereals, berries, low fat milk, yogurts, grapefruits, bananas, watermelon, almond butter, eggs and so on. These foods are rich in fibers, calcium, folic acid, carbohydrates and proteins.
Avoid donuts, cookies and cakes because eating them leads to glucose loss and in a few ours you will be craving for another sugar product.
