SASA’S Easy Wellness Recipe: Spicy Chicken Cous Cous | Herbalife Advice

Here’s an easy, quick, and healthy dinner recipe for Spicy Chicken Cous Cous. This dish is a complete meal with protein, whole grain, and vegetables.

Serves 4 people.

• Olive oil
• One grated carrot
• Half of a medium onion (chopped)
• Two plum tomatoes (seeded and diced)
• Pinch of cinnamon
• Tablespoon of curry powder
• Cous Cous
• Chicken broth
• Sliced chicken breast
• Fresh orange slices
• Chopped parsley
• Pistachio nuts

Heat up your frying pan with a little olive oil. Add grated carrot, chopped up onions, and diced tomatoes and sauté in the olive oil. Stir and cook until vegetables are soft and add a pinch of cinnamon and a tablespoon of curry powder. Add cous cous to pan and stir for a minute to get flavors to blend and the cous cous coated with the spices. Add chicken broth to pan and let it come to a boil. Add sliced chicken breast on top of cous cous, cover the pan, lower heat to medium low and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Uncover the pan and lay fresh orange slices on top. Sprinkle parsley and pistachio nuts on top and this easy, quick, and healthy Spicy Chicken Cous Cous dinner is ready to serve!
