YOU NEED TO TRY THIS RECIPE! Deliciously Simple Date-Almond-Oat Bites (Recipe)


For a healthy and sweet on-the-go snack, reach for these date-almond-oat cakes. Loaded with arginine, iron, fiber, protein, magnesium and healthy fats, this recipe is easy to make and even easier to enjoy.

  1. 1 cup almonds (or any nut mixture)
  2. ⅓ cup old fashioned oats
  3. 1 cup dates, chopped
  4. ½ cup coconut flakes
  5. ¼ cup chia seeds (optional)
  6. 1 to 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  1. Mill almonds in a high-powered blender or food processor until fine. Add and blend chia, oats and coconut flakes. Add chopped dates and blend well. Add coconut oil 1 teaspoon at a time until mixture will hold together when you form cakes; the moister the dates, the less oil you’ll need. Form balls and store in fridge. Enjoy!
